Tourist Activities
Because Whitianga is a holiday destination, there are lots of tourist activities for us to do. There are several different boat trips out on beautiful Mercury Bay. One of these trips, the Cave Cruzer, we combine with a bush walk into Waitaia Bay. Driving Creek Railway, on the other side of the Coromandel Peninsula, features a train ride through native bush on the private land of one of New Zealand's most famous potters.
The Banana Boat is a local boat ride, that is always great fun and usually ends up with everyone getting wet!
