AKIKO KUBO - JAPAN
The local people were so friendly. Everyone always said "hi, how are you?" I could feel their warmth directly with their smiles. |
|
MIN BYUNG HOON - KOREA
I started acknowledging that English isn't boring gramattical stuff, but a way of communicating, making friends, and an opportunity to widen my views. |

GASEM AL AMOUDI - SAUDI ARABIA
COLC is a special school in New Zealand. It is like a home; they look after you like a member of the family.

CARLES SERRANO - SPAIN

MARTINA WINKLEMANN - SWITZERLAND
Coromandel Outdoor Language Centre is a peaceful family-like school with breath taking scenery around. For me it was the perfect place to prepare myself for the Cambridge First Certificate because I had to study during the week and on Friday afternoon I joined the Activity Class. |

TADASHI SUGINOMORI - JAPAN
The reason I came to New Zealand for studying English is because I thought it had beautiful nature and I could study English in a relaxing environment. New Zealand is what I had expected. I’m enjoying my life in Whitianga (mainly going fishing). And I think my English has improved. |
|
RONALD TANG - HONG KONG
I chose this school because my brother, who went to this school before, said New Zealand was a good place to study English. Actually my English isn’t good enough, but the teachers are kind and their teaching is easy to understand. So now my English is getting better than before. I’m enjoying school life very much. |

MIHAELA VLAINIC - SWITZERLAND
First I came to Coromandel Outdoor Language Centre for 3 weeks, and after a couple of days I decided to come back again for another 3 weeks; when this 3 weeks finished I extended for another week, because I love this place. It’s a nice little school next to Whitianga Harbour. I like the energy – it feels like a big happy family,
My English improved a lot because I had friends from all over the world, and I had the chance to become a surfer. I don’t feel like going home to Switzerland on Friday; unfortunately I have to……..but I will come back.

SUNG HUN LIM - HUNY - KOREA
“When I came to this school I couldn’t speak English at all, because I had just studied English grammar when I was in Korea.
Coromandel Outdoor Language Centre helps students have the confidence to speak English. I’d definitely recommend this school to you, if you’re thinking of coming to New Zealand to learn English.”

KORBINIAN HEINHOLD - GERMANY
Hi Guys,
my name is Korbi. I’m from Germany and sixteen years old. I joined COLC for 12 weeks and i have to say it was amazing. In this 3 months i learned a lot about other people’s culture, their lifestyle and their mind. Although I was always the youngest I had a lot of fun with people around 25. Here are also students around 50. Here it doesn’t matter where you from or what you do. It’s like a big family and you make a lot of friends here from different countries. The good thing is it never gets boring ‘cause there are every week new students coming. If you also a fan of nature you should visit New Zealand. I love this place and the people and I can only recommend to come here if you want to change something. My motto after this time: NEVER BE AFRAID TO CHANGE :) |
